Nestor Carbonell Cast in Netflix Drama 'Pulse' From Carlton Cuse

cast of the fall of the house of usher

Ruth Codd happens to be one of those actresses who was discovered somewhat randomly after The Midnight Club casting team found her on TikTok. She played Anya in that series and plays Roderick’s young second wife Juno in The Fall of the House of Usher. She’ll also be in an episode of Creepshow season 4, coming to Shudder this month. Carla Gugino, of course, is no stranger to the world of horror, or more specifically, Mike Flanagan’s brand of horror. She starred in Gerald’s Game, The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and even appeared in an episode of Midnight Mass.

Mary McDonnell as Madeline Usher

This modern take on the Edgar Allan Poe story of the same name transports fans into the world of the Usher family, led by sibling duo Roderick and Madeline. Together, the twins have headed Fortunato Pharmaceuticals, establishing an empire of wealth, privilege and power — but at a cost. The family’s dark, shady past seemingly comes to light as heirs from the dynasty begin dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from Madeline and Roderick’s youth. Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood and Rahul Kohli join newcomers (to the Flanaverse) Mary McDonnell and Willa Fitzgerald. Mark Hamill plays the intensely loyal Usher family attorney Arthur Pym, often nicknamed the “Pym Reaper” by members of the family and outsiders alike. Hamill is famous for portraying Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars film and television franchise.

Edgar Allan Poe

Netflix has revealed the cast of its upcoming horror series The Fall of the House of Usher. Frederick is married to Morelle and they have a daughter together, Lenore. Frederick, often nicknamed “Froderick” by his siblings, is similar to Perry in that he’s desperate to prove himself to his father. Kyliegh Curran stars in The Fall of the House of Usher as Roderick Usher’s granddaughter and daughter of Frederick and Morelle Usher, Lenore Usher. She’s a teenager and often considered to be the “best” of the Ushers, at least according to Roderick. Lenore is basically the only one in the family to have a moral compass.

Trucco got a promotion in his next Flanagan role, going from slain boyfriend to mayor of a town beset by vampires in Midnight Mass. Napoleon Usher (Rahul Kohli) is a video game patron and a socialite playboy with a pretty intense drug habit. For him, it's about numbing the pain of his reality, but the behavior is starting to become a problem for his boyfriend, Julius. Frederick Usher (Henry Thomas) is the eldest child of Roderick Usher and the natural heir to his father's company, but he's also the least equipped to run the business out of all his siblings. Often picked on by his brothers and sisters, the neurotic Freddie also comes with a fiery jealousy and compounding insecurity, which force him down a path that even those closest to him are shocked to see.

But past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth. Fitzgerald previously starred in the Scream television series and also played a role in Royal Pains and Alpha House. Roderick Usher is the patriarch of the Usher family and the CEO of Fortunato Pharmaceuticals, which his twin sister, Madeline, helped to acquire.

cast of the fall of the house of usher

Willa Fitzgerald is a young Madeline besides Zach Gilford’s younger Roderick in the show’s flashbacks, where she proves that she’s always been able to see the bigger picture. Gildford previously played a role in Criminal Minds, The Midnight Club, Midnight Mass, Good Girls, L.A.’s Finest, and more. Sauriyan Sapkota’s Prospero “Perry” Usher is the youngest of the family and new to the rich life. His goal is to use his family’s money to make life one big party, and he has very little interest in fulling the family business. Siegel starred as Maddie in Mike Flanagan’s Hush and can also be seen in The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Gerald’s Game. Lenore is the purest member of the Usher family, with Roderick even considering her to be the “best of.” She’s kind, empathic, and always looks to make conscientious choices instead of considering the family first.

Bruce Greenwood

Abrams' 2009 "Star Trek" film and Flanagan's 2017 adaptation of the Stephen King novel "Gerald's Game." Roderick built the family's company into a powerful empire, but wasn't very affectionate to his children while they were growing up. Annabel Lee (Katie Parker) is the mother of Frederick and Tamerlane, and she's the only real love Roderick has ever had. (Sorry, Juno!) With a warmth and trusting nature, she always sought to find the best in Roderick, but that might have left her blind to the dangers encroaching on her family.

As Flanagan’s IMDB page grows, so does the Flanaverse, and the new Netflix’s series “Usher” is assembling what could be the biggest cast of Flanagan favorites of all time. Curran started acting with the 2017 movie I Can I Will I Did and then landed the lead role of Abra Stone in Flanagan’s Stephen King adaptation of Doctor Sleep. She also played Harper in the Disney Channel series Secrets of Sulphur Springs. Siegel also had a smaller role in The Haunting of Bly Manor and even a small cameo in The Midnight Club. Outside of her husband’s projects, she’s also appeared in films and shows like The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Wrath of Becky, and the Netflix Original film Hypnotic. As usual with Mike Flanagan projects, his latest Netflix series is stuffed with an incredible cast of talented actors.

He’s constantly looking for a way to show that he has something to offer the Ushers. One of the youngest stars of "The Fall of the House of Usher" Sauriyan Sapkota, who appropriately plays the eponymous family's youngest son, Prospero "Perry" Usher. Sapkota's only other IMDb credit is for Mike Flanagan's "The Midnight Club," where he broke out in 2022. In that series, Sapkota plays Amesh, a young, aspiring video game designer whose aspirations for the future are cut short by a devastating brain cancer diagnosis.

The character’s name is taken from a Poe story about a man who has a doppelganger. The name Verna, is, of course, an anagram of “raven,” Poe’s famous bird. She’s a mysterious woman who appears to each member of the Usher family in turns, and when she shows up, it’s never good news. Kohli can previously be seen in a handful of Mike Flanagan’s previous projects, including The Haunting of Bly Manner, Midnight Mass, and Midnight Club. Napoleon “Leo” Usher is described as a video game patron and the socialite of the Usher family. He also happens to have a drug problem, something that becomes problematic for those around him.

Here’s a complete “Fall of the House of Usher” cast and character guide. Toby, played by Igby Rigney, is one of Camille L’Espanaye’s two assistants. Annabeth Gish was also married to another of Robert Longstreet’s characters, Mr. Dudley, as Mrs. Dudley in The Haunting of Hill House.

As previously announced, Frank Langella leads the cast as Roderick Usher, the patriarch of the Usher dynasty. Mary McDonnell plays Roderick’s twin sister Madeline, the “hidden hand” of the family. Mark Hamill plays a character yet to be named who is described as being “surprisingly at home in the shadows.” Carla Gugino also plays a currently unnamed character.

Road House 2024 film Wikipedia

Dalton uses his own connections to secure some supplies and reunites with his mentor Wade Garrett, an aging bouncer. Wesley sends his men to destroy the Double Deuce's supplies, but Dalton and Garrett defeat them. Other highlights include a modern interplay of warm wood surfaces (including new wood floors) with stone finishes and abundant glass details in the ceilings and walls. Given its idyllic setting, Broad Beach has long attracted Hollywood A-listers, said Monus. Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy reportedly lived here in the 1960s, and Steve McQueen and Ali McGraw took up residence in the 1970s.

Where to watch the Road House remake

Characteristically, the first time we see Cody on stage, he has to stop in the middle of a set when he's injured by a piece of flying glass. In "Road House," Swayze plays a hotly sought-after cooler (basically a bouncer). At first, his time at the Double Deuce appears to be nothing more than just another job, but after his new lover is threatened and his old friend Wade (Sam Elliott) is murdered, things get a lot more personal. Some films strive to impress upon us the inherent beauty of the human condition and how it should keep our souls nourished even in what seem like the most hopeless of situations.

Leave the World Behind Cast And Characters

J. D. Pardo, Beau Knapp, Kevin Carroll, and Hannah Love Lanier flesh out the world of the film with additional characters whose allegiances are yet to be revealed. One of the Double Deuce bouncers you learn to hate early on is the smart-mouth Steve (Gary Hudson). While Steve survives Dalton's initial purge of the bar's staff, his good luck doesn't last long. When Dalton catches him in a compromising situation with an underage girl he'd snuck into the bar, his time with the good guys is over.

Daniela Melchior as Ellie:

cast of road house

While Brad Wesley may be the main villain of "Road House," he isn't much of a physical threat to Dalton. To fill that role, Wesley always keeps the ruthless Jimmy nearby, played by Marshall R. Teague. Jimmy suffers perhaps the most infamous death in "Road House" — going one-on-one with Dalton in a fight that ends with the hero ripping his throat out.

Road House star Patrick Swayze gave all that he could until the end

He's lent his voice to Disney's "The Princess and the Frog," the English dub of "Princess Mononoke," the very first game in the "Fallout" series, animated shows like "Gargoyles," "Adventure Time," and "Rick & Morty," and numerous documentaries. He enjoyed some smaller roles in '00s, including his memorable portrayal of a motivational speaker outed as a monster in 2001's "Donnie Darko." Terrell Smith has a diverse writing background having penned material for a wide array of clients including the federal government and Bravo television personalities. When he’s not writing as Terrell, he’s writing under his pseudonym Tavion Scott, creating scripts for his audio drama podcasts.

Kelly Lynch continued acting and has a crazy connection to Bill Murray

Whether Road House is simply bad or so bad it's good depends largely on the audience's fondness for Swayze -- and tolerance for violently cheesy action. Dalton seems completely unsurprised when his new no-nonsense way of handling things at the Double Deuce inspires some disgruntled ex-employees to vandalize his car. To help patch things up, he goes to a store run by Red Webster (Red West) — a business owner whose store is regularly torn up by Brad Wesley's thugs (and is eventually firebombed). While Dalton's romantic interests eventually turn in another direction, when he first arrives at the Double Deuce, he immediately captures the attention of the waitress Carrie, played by Kathleen Wilhoite.

Whether you're a nostalgic fan or just curious to see the remake on its own terms, expect gripping action and gritty drama that made the original a cult classic. Healey kept creating, recording, and performing music prolifically up until his death. Including solo records and those done with the Jeff Healey Band, the guitarist and singer released over 20 albums — some in his life time and some posthumously, including 2008's "Mess of Blues," which shipped less than two weeks after Healey's passing. To any character with a shred of decency in "Road House," the biggest thorn in their side is the sadistic and wealthy Brad Wesley, played by Ben Gazzara.

Depicts a character intertwined with the main storyline, affecting the dynamics between the key players. Portrays a character contributing to the conflicts and resolutions within the movie's plot. Embodies a character who plays a significant role in the central setting of the Road House narrative. Plays a role that adds an extra layer of intensity and drama to the story being told in Road House. Takes on the role of Ellie, a character that becomes pivotal to the unfolding events at the bar.

Terrell is a huge fan of great storytelling when it comes to television and film. Some of his favorite shows include The Crown, WandaVision, Abbot Elementary and Godfather of Harlem. Troubled former UFC middleweight fighter Elwood Dalton makes a living scamming fighters on the underground circuit. He is approached by Frankie, the owner of an unruly roadhouse in the Florida Keys community of Glass Key, who offers him a job as head bouncer.

The adjacent dining room flows into a covered outdoor lounge that’s enclosed in glass on three sides—both agents said this space has resonated the most with those who have seen the house. It overlooks a spacious patio with a seating area and an in-ground hot tub as well as a grassy path toward the ocean. Conor McGregor transitions from the ring to the silver screen, as Knox, the ruthless gun-for-hire who heightens the stakes. Supporting are Daniela Melchior as Ellie and Lukas Gage as Billy, with a special cameo by Post Malone as the battered fighter Carter.

Carrie isn't a major player in "Road House," though she manages to pull double duty as both server and entertainer when she sings "Knock on Wood" on stage. Sadly, Gazzara died in 2012 at the age of 81 from the same disease that took his "Road House" co-star Patrick Swayze — pancreatic cancer. MovieMeter aims to be the largest, most complete movie archive with reviews and rankings, in the World. Plays a character who interacts with the others in ways that propel the plot forward. Depicts a character whose narrative is intertwined with the lead, adding depth to the film.

Road House is a 2024 American action film directed by Doug Liman, written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Chuck Mondry and produced by Joel Silver. It is a remake of the 1989 film of the same name and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniela Melchior, Conor McGregor (in his feature film debut), J. While he has a relatively small role in "Road House," outside the film, Red West had one of the most intriguing histories of anyone in the cast. His first claim to fame was as part of the so-called "Memphis Mafia" — Elvis Presley's entourage that included West, Red's cousin Sonny, and Dave Hebler. Red was also a songwriter who co-wrote Presley tunes like "Separate Ways" and "If You Talk in Your Sleep," as well as songs by Pat Boone, Ricky Nelson, and others.

Although Emmett is saved, the enraged Dalton fights Reno and rips his throat out, much to Elizabeth's shock and disgust. James Dalton is a professional bouncer working security for a club in New York City. Although stoic and cool-headed, Dalton is tormented by memories of a man he killed in self-defense by ripping out his throat. Frank Tilghman, a businessman, recruits Dalton to take over security at his club "Double Deuce" in Jasper, Missouri. Tilghman plans to invest substantial funds into the dilapidated club and needs Dalton's highly regarded skills to tackle the endemic violence and rough customers.

Though most of West's acting roles were on the smaller side, he eventually attracted critical praise for later performances, particularly in the 2008 indie film "Goodbye Solo." Frank Tilghman, played by Kevin Tighe, is the owner of the Double Deuce in "Road House," and he's tired of every night ending with the floor of his establishment covered in broken glass, broken furniture, and blood. It's Frank who pays an arm and a leg to recruit Dalton, and you get a pretty clear sense that it's only because he's got Dalton's fists to back him up that he finally summons the courage to defy Brad Wesley.

According to published reports, recent marquee names include Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Steven Spielberg, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro, Mel Gibson, Pierce Brosnan and Los Angeles Times owner and biotech billionaire Patrick Soon-Shiong. Road House updates a cult classic for a new generation, happily replicating the original's emphasis on cheesy brawn over narrative brains. With this diverse cast, the 2024 Road House promises a blend of action, drama, and humor, all set against the backdrop of a seemingly idyllic Florida paradise with a dark underbelly. Less is known about Ellie’s character, but Melchior, known for her breakout role in The Suicide Squad, could be a love interest or a fellow newcomer to the town.

The collection was shown at Palais-Royale in Paris with a tower the center of the runway bearing inspiration to Tatlin's Tower. The farmers, ranchers and other residents living in Owens Valley had plans of their own for the river’s precious contents, and were seeking federal funding from the Bureau of Reclamation for a public irrigation project in the region. By the end of 1905, however, Eaton and Mulholland were able–using Eaton’s extensive political contacts, as well as dubious tactics such as bribery and deception–to acquire enough land and water rights in Owens Valley to block the irrigation project. In 1904, the Board of Water Commissioners authorized Mulholland and several other engineers to find possible new water sources that would meet the city’s needs.

The resulting St. Francis Dam was completed in 1926 and created a reservoir capacity of 38,000 acre-feet (47,000,000 m3). On March 12, 1928, the dam catastrophically failed, sending a 100-foot high (30 m) wall of water down the canyon, ultimately reaching the Pacific Ocean near Ventura and Oxnard, and killing at least 431 people. The resulting investigation and trial led to the retirement of William Mulholland as the head of the Los Angeles Bureau of Water Works and Supply in 1929.

Mulholland and Eaton planned to route the aqueduct from the Owens River straight into the San Fernando Valley, an arid region of land nearby the city. With the backing of such powerful players, the $1.5 million bond issue necessary to begin the aqueduct’s construction passed overwhelmingly in 1905. Further ensuring the draining of Owens Valley, the aqueduct project had also earned the support of President Theodore Roosevelt, who considered it an ideal example of his Progressive agenda for the nation. By the 1920s, William Mulholland was already searching for more water for the still-growing Los Angeles region, and was pushing for the building of an aqueduct and a dam on the mighty Colorado River. This ambitious idea would come to pass in four years after Mulholland's death--with the completion of Hoover Dam. From the time it was founded as a small settlement in the late 18th century, Los Angeles depended on its own river for water, building a system of reservoirs and open ditches as well as canals to irrigate nearby fields.

As the city grew, however, it became clear that this supply of water would be insufficient if Los Angeles were to become a major American metropolis, as city boosters wanted. In the early 20th century, efforts to channel water from the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada to the city and the surrounding region culminated in the building of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, completed in 1913. Owens Design focuses on high tech industries, offers special expertise in semiconductors, renewable energy, emerging technologies, data storage, and medical devices. Our wide range of application experience includes robotics, laser processes, handling lyophilized beads, and much more. Owens Design estimates the cost to design and build the prototype along with cost for production systems.

The aqueduct's water provided developers with the resources to quickly develop the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles through World War II. Mulholland's role in the vision and completion of the aqueduct and the growth of Los Angeles into a large metropolis is recognized with the William Mulholland Memorial Fountain, built in 1940 at Riverside Drive and Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Feliz. The San Francisquito Tunnels (which include the Elizabeth Tunnel) have a flow capacity of 1,000 cu ft/s (28,000 L/s)[33] and are large enough to handle the flow of both aqueducts. Once the combined flow reaches the penstocks above Power Plant #2, water is diverted into the Southern Section of the second aqueduct through the Drinkwater Tunnel to the Drinkwater Reservoir. The Spring/Summer 2019 collection makes references to the Russian constructivist architecture movement and the biblical Tower of Babel.

To move 14 million ton-miles of freight, the city contracted with Southern Pacific to build a 118 mile long rail system from the Monolith mills to Olancha. Our sense of style is timeless, bringing together a wealth of knowledge, experience and exposure to all that is art and design. Creating a dynamic visual hierarchy: best practices from Chipman Design Architecture

chipman design architecture

It was in the early 1950’s that Albert B. Chipman established one of the first professional practices devoted to commercial planning and design. A generation later, Albert’s son John Chipman expanded the business from its initial staff of three to build the architecture firm Chipman Design, in 1979. By the mid 1990s, state-of-the-art computer technology became one of the firm’s hallmark services. In 2019, CDA celebrated their 40th anniversary and today it is still family owned with John Chipman’s daughter, Lauren Chipman, leading the team into the 21st century. More advanced techniques, such as grouping and layers, object links and color will be covered in future posts.

The feature set of Miro has been tremendously helpful in focusing these planning sessions, with many of the fundamental techniques detailed above coming into play. Because the intervals of the font-size counter jump dramatically once you pass the 80pt mark, you’ll want to start manually adjusting the 80pt+ scale of the type by dragging the corner of the text frame. However, before you really start to flex with the techniques listed above, you’ll want to create a board template. We aren’t just taking every safety precaution available, CDA is leading the way with foresight and imagination on how public spaces need to not only adapt now but also thrive in a modified future. We are honored to safely guide the leading national retail, restaurant, and hospitality groups through the pandemic in order to maintain public health and economic stability.

Combining this technique with the shift key provides a consistent aspect ratio when scaling. From there, choose either “Personal” or “Shared with the team” under “Custom Templates” and then click the “Create New Template” button (if no templates exist) or the plus sign to create a new template. The simplest shape differentiators for words and type include scale, line weight, line breaks and justification. Along with speaking appearances and wiring for trade publications, he authored a nationally- distributed retail planning workbook. At his father's retirement in 1984, John redirected his architecture firm’s focus when he boldly capitalized on developing computer technology to keep up with unprecedented expansion of corporate clients. Founding Principal, John Chipman, began creating a new direction for his father’s retail interior design firm in 1979 when he joined the small Chicago design practice. Building upon an existing base of regional main-street retail clients, John led the firm into a position of national recognition. While creating a compelling new store experience is exciting, we know that implementing an all encompassing concept across your entire fleet is what makes a real impact. In order to successfully achieve large-volume architectural programs, we rely on solution-oriented thinking and proactive project management, with architectural excellence at the core of every construction document set we produce.

An examination of a project infrastructure planning methodology is covered at the close of the post, employing these shape-centric visual techniques. Based on nearly four decades of architecture expertise, we have developed unparalleled project protocols addressing issues typical to corporate expansion programs. We are skilled at developing both national and regional prototypes, in addition to taking the client through construction documents. With custom processes developed for communicating change management within the prototype, we are able to provide your team the organization and the expertise to develop, adapt and maintain your prototypes.

With its corporate office in Chicago, an office in Los Angeles and an affiliated office in New York, the firm is recognized nationally for its expertise in prototype design development, site adaptation and visualization services. Client presentations are created in-house using 3-D computer renderings and animations, enhanced by hand-drawn conceptual design sketches. Certified by NCARB, he is a registered Architect in states throughout the country, maintains professional membership in the AIA and IIDA, holding LEED AP professional registration for sustainable design. Then I create a square and a circle (rectangle tool, hold shift, click and drag to keep consistent aspect ratio) each with 48pt bold and a stroke at mid-mark line weight for thickness. More nuanced elements include kerning, leading and the hiding-in-plain-sight technique of capitalization standards. Updating materials to innovative products noted for their anti-microbial and sanitation performance will serve a safer environment. Tapping flexible solutions such as modular furniture and portable dividers will easily transform spaces to accommodate varying social distancing measures.

Integrating both advanced technology and dependable mechanisms will ensure a contactless experience from initial entry and beyond. CDA has been a remote-capable work environment since the beginning of 2020, and currently, all our job site visits and construction sites are COVID compliant. We believe that human behavior is inherently structural, and our ability to navigate creative and practical solutions allows us to be the ultimate connector between the public and their experience with an environment. While we value pencil to paper, we integrate the latest technology to innovate the design process. John earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois/Urbana reinforcing his studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Versailles, France, and at the Nacional d’Art Decoratif de Nice, France. Throughout his professional life, he has traveled extensively for both business and research throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Get the latest POVs on what’s new in architectural design and insider updates from the CDA team. Working hand in hand with our Engineers, we deliver fully coordinated architectural and engineering documents nationally (licensed in every state). Partnering with your team throughout construction, we are a resource to your General Contractor from breaking ground to cutting the ribbon. In 2011, the infamous Atlanta-based chicken titan, Chick-Fil-A, moved into the Chicago market for the first time.

A firm grasp of these techniques and mechanics will significantly enhance the speed with which you can create boards and allow for more expansive and robust visualization. Pictured below is the finished project infrastructure, created from a core template with all non-applicable platforms removed. A Miro project was created with the account name and this board dropped in, ensuring that all team members would be able to quickly reference the core. We were also able to determine who had received training in fundamentals and best practices based on our color-coding association and quickly get everyone on the same page, saving countless unnecessary questions within the project lifecycle. We strategically assemble teams to best support a program’s unique needs that guarantees a consistent partnership with a group of talented experts who are there from beginning to end.Our clients are true partners. Together we work closely to create project programming that carries a client’s brand forward.

They chose Chipman to design their flagship location downtown, which marked a departure from specializing in stand-alone stores to smaller footprints that often rely solely on foot traffic. The Chicago expansion continued in 2013 to a location near the Chicago Theater at State and Lake streets, illustrating a lesson in how urban stores can’t be treated with suburban cookie-cutter design. This emerged from an exploration of needs drivers, and while it wasn’t useful in template rollout, it served as a great framing element when grouping like platforms and programs. Once the preliminary scale is locked down, you can make large tweaks by dragging orthogonally (left–right or up–down) along the axis of focus then dragging orthogonally along the opposite axis. Now that you have your text and object elements built, you’ll want to save them as a template for quick access when creating new boards. To address that challenge, developers and designers are mulling interior and exterior changes that could drastically repurpose space, an overhaul that will require both customers and merchants to readjust their experiences and expectations.

Throughout the financial crisis of 2008 and 2009, we doubled down on our client partnerships, building more fluid and non-traditional relationships by offering new services like lease reviews and architectural test fits. After establishing basic text and frame sizing, the next step is to create priority or importance of platform use. Our exploration into shapes earlier offers some great, simple solutions for this, with a particular focus placed on platform/rectangle alignment. Deciding on an axis of focus (X or Y) before center-point scaling (alt + text frame corner drag) allows you to more easily pinpoint the appropriate scale of your type. Project Management (project infrastructure planning, roles and responsibilities, dashboards and a host of workflow documentation). I picked this method up in Alina Wheeler’s book Designing Brand Identity, and it’s proven invaluable when creating layouts and visual hierarchies.

While architecture allows us to augment the world with structure and style, we pride ourselves on the opportunity to connect and improve the lives of people, businesses and communities. With over forty years of experience partnering with clients on their national architectural programs, Chipman Design has developed an account team structure that provides a consistent point of contact with a foundation of national expertise. Driven by sustainable, long-term solutions, we offer best in class client services, architectural design, and ethics in practice. But, we also handle program management, conceptual design sprints, and process mapping with ease. CDA has helped our clients find success in difficult times due to our ability to respond quickly, pivot team priorities, and adapt services to meet immediate client needs.

Per The Numbers, The Matrix Resurrections grossed the least worldwide of all of the Matrix films. Unlike the first four Matrix films, however, The Matrix 5 will not be directed by either Lana or Lilly Wachowski. It's like this kind of code that once you start to inhabit it with breath and sound and feeling and thought, it is the most powerful and consuming and freeing at the same time. What I found out in doing it [Hamlet] was that it brought up for me all the anger that was inside me for my mother. I mean, it surprised me, just what was there, and I hadn't seen that before. He plays bass guitar for the band Dogstar and pursued other endeavours such as developing the BRZRKR franchise and has participated in philanthropic causes.

The reality is that no, Keanu Reeves is not Neo, he’s not John Wick, and he doesn’t live in a stylish home on the East Coast like our favorite screen assassin. It has white walls and structural elements complimenting the black-clad projections at the entrance of the house. This is thanks to his undeniable lovability – he wants the quality of the film to be front and center. That being said, he’s still raking in a reported $5-7 million for the John Wick franchise. In November 2019, Keanu stepped out at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Film + Art Festival with a mystery woman and the world went wild.

Reeves has seamlessly transitioned from rising star to venerable Hollywood icon over his 35+ year career. His on-screen work remains inextricably linked to several of his real estate holdings. Reeves has described living behind fences, cameras, and safe rooms to protect himself and loved ones. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls blur the line between indoors and out, bathing the space in natural light. Nestled high in the Hollywood Hills, Keanu Reeves’ sprawling mansion is a sight to behold. With its modern architectural design and lush, private grounds, this property embodies California living at its finest.

According to sources, the actor’s Hawaiian property was sold for a whopping $6.8 million in 2015. There are also rumors that Reeves may own properties in Malibu, making one wonder what kind of lavish properties he may own there. One can only imagine the peace and serenity of Keanu Reeves’ life in the breathtaking lake house, a stark contrast to his busy work life in the bustling city. When Keanu Reeves found out that his house had been burglarized, he expressed shock and disappointment at the violation of his private space. The actor took several security measures to prevent future break-ins at his Hollywood Hills house, including the installation of security cameras and an improved alarm system.

Inside Christian Bale’s Luxurious House in Brentwood Park

Nestled in the heart of Los Angeles, the Hollywood Hills serve as the backdrop to Keanu’s life away from the camera. The master bedroom is spacious and has a minimalist design with a large glass window that lets in natural light and offers a stunning view of Los Angeles. The bedroom also has a walk-in closet that is the envy of many fashion enthusiasts. The bathroom is also spacious and features a Japanese soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Keanu Reeves is known for his acting skills, charisma, and enigmatic personality. However, not many people are aware that the Hollywood superstar has one of the most stunning houses in the industry.

The actor eventually craved stability and purchased his first home for $4.85 million in the Hollywood Hills area in 2003. Reeves admitted that he enjoyed house hunting and experiencing the surreal feeling of finally finding his home. It's like "When you walk into a place, and you go 'this is it, this is it," he described it. Life & Style broke the news about the longtime friends turning romantic on November 4.

Keanu Reeves’ Hollywood Hills house is an epitome of luxury and privacy nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. With four bedrooms, three baths, and panoramic views of the mountains, this house is the private retreat that Reeves deserves. It is reported that he once earned $15 million per box office success, but that has declined considerably in recent years. He rose to fame due to his unwavering dedication to producing quality films. The modern house’s distinctive lines and ceiling-high windows blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. This stunning building features an outer exterior that resembles a Hollywood home with stark white walls.

Born in Beirut and raised in Toronto, he made his acting debut in the Canadian television series Hangin' In (1984), before making his feature film debut in Youngblood (1986). Reeves had his breakthrough role in the science fiction comedy Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), and he reprised his role in its sequels. Visitors to the property can expect to be wowed by its many features, including spacious rooms, beautiful outdoor spaces, and cutting-edge technology. From the moment one steps into Keanu Reeves’ house, its breathtaking beauty is sure to leave a lasting impression. Outside, you can unwind near the incredible view of an infinity edge pool, and a 30 square foot waterfall located at the main entrance.

The answer lies in the delicate balance between accessibility and seclusion. Ashwini is an architecture student who is trying to pursue her love for writing. She believes that the power of the pen can bring out the soul of a building to the mortal world. But despite the actor’s love of privacy and seclusion, we’re likely to see a lot more of him in the near future.

In November 2019, he went public with artist Alexandra Grant after years of speculation. Today, comparably sized homes in Beverly Park sell for $20 million and beyond. As one of the most prestigious communities in LA, properties there appreciate significantly over time.

Reeves has filmed movies in Hawaii, including “Matrix Reloaded,” and has been known to visit the state for vacation. You might also recognize this neighborhood from Netflix’s show Selling Sunset, where they feature a really expensive house that is also located here. According to Velvet Ropes, Keanu Reeves lives in an $8 million house in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. Purchased in 2003 for $4.85 million, the 5,607-square-foot home has only two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a three-car garage.

Keanu Reeves has built a career that allows him to have whatever he wants

Stylishly designed, the luxurious house reflects the glamor and sophistication of Hollywood. It boasts of a sleek and ultramodern interior that exudes elegance in every corner. In 1991, this impressive three-story mansion was built on a hill and offers stunning views of Oahu’s scenic beach areas.

Is It Dinner Time Yet?

It features floor-to-ceiling windows that allow ample natural light to flood the interior, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The interior decor is a blend of modern and rustic elements, with wood finishes and stone accents that add a sense of warmth and comfort. The house itself is designed for relaxing, with a modern and minimalist aesthetic, featuring large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. The property also includes an outdoor area with a pool and lush greenery, creating a private oasis that is perfect for entertaining guests or enjoying alone time.

As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the Hills, one can’t help but marvel at the beauty of Keanu’s home. According to Keanu Reeves, he had the idea of wanting a place of his own and getting the absolute feeling of confirmation and content once he saw the house. Being one of the main reasons to buy the house, the other reason has been speculated due to his gypsy lifestyle and moving all around the country. When asked why he wanted to buy a home for himself, he related to the idea of feeling like a homeowner in a place where it was all rooted for him. He conveyed the idea of owning space for his own individuality as well as a space to come home to. It’s easy to understand why Keanu Reeves is so focused on keeping his private life private.

There is a separate garage that holds his motorcycle collection, and there is even a room dedicated to repairing his bikes. Reeves reportedly hosted a Stand Up 2 Cancer fundraiser at his Hollywood Hills estate in 2010. Guests at the private event could tour the home and grounds while raising money for pediatric cancer research. He also co-founded a private cancer foundation which provides treatment and support to children’s hospitals.

Often the actor has complained of tourists gathering at the entrance of his home and disrupting their lifestyle. Several security measures were put in place hence to protect the couple’s privacy as well as to create a barrier for them. Keanu Charles Reeves, more commonly known as Keanu Reeves, entered the world on September 2, 1964.

In summary, Keanu Reeves’ lake house is a stunning property that showcases the natural beauty of the area. With its gorgeous views, serene surroundings, and inviting interior, it provides the perfect retreat for the famous actor. As one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Keanu Reeves’ house is as exclusive and unique as the actor himself. The private residence boasts stunning architecture and serene elegance, with every detail carefully considered to create a luxurious living environment.

Reeves and Grant have previously collaborated on an artist book titled Ode to Happiness and a second book, Shadows. In 2014, a female fan named Alison Silva was arrested for trespassing multiple times at Keanu Reeves’ house, including an incident where she reportedly skinny-dipped in his pool. Silva was later issued a restraining order to stay away from the actor’s property. Who doesn't love the mystery man, who once told the world that the reality we know isn't real and we're all just living in eggshell-like pods hooked up to a machine? The Hollywood Hills is known for expensive real estate, and Keanu Reeves’ house is no exception.

It includes several bedrooms, bathrooms, and spacious living areas, providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment. Among all of Keanu Reeves’ houses, his house in Hawaii stands out due to its unique location and tranquil surroundings. Located in the exclusive area of Hanalei on the island of Kauai, the property boasts stunning views of the ocean and mountains. The interior design is a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional elements, creating a timeless and elegant feel throughout the house. Every detail is flawless, from the carefully chosen artwork to the luxurious bedding and linens.

Each client is approached with a special sensitivity to their unique project needs. The Spirit of Nashville collection was our maiden voyage into the world of poster design. Since 2003, we've created over 160 designs depicting what we love most about Music City. This video was produced by one of our clients after we created their logo and fell in love with their products.

Derek enjoys creating ideas from a narrator’s point of view, deciding what perspective tells the story most effectively. In his free time Derek enjoys exercising his creative muscle through multiple outlets, such as skateboarding with friends and playing music on his guitar. Derek is a sci-fi nerd at heart and lately has taken to creating fictional movie and video game poster art. Derek’s drive and passion to make poster art is fueled by the inspiring people he works with at ADG. In 2007, the partners decided to pursue different interests, so Joel reorganized the design firm as Anderson Design Group, Inc., narrowing the studio's focus to specialize in illustration and poster design. When Joel and the art team are not doing illustration work for clients, they create new poster art.

Decide if a round-trip or one-way itinerary best suits your travel preferences

It isn't an option for guests who use wheelchairs or scooters and even for some passengers who are heavily reliant on walkers. Witness Herring Gulls and Razorbills on an archipelago excursion, discover how Innu and Euro-Canadians traded at The Old Post, and savour fresh seafood in the island’s many cafes and bistros. Make your way to Citadel Hill in time to hear the noon cannon sound, take a tour at Alexander Keith’s - Halifax’s oldest brewery and step into Maud Lewis’ house at The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Follow the Freedom Trail to discover how America’s oldest city was made, savour the creaminess of clam chowder and enjoy a beer, served with a smile, at the bar where everybody knows your name. Throughout the ship, casual resort wear, sundresses, shorts, polos, or button-downs are appropriate, paired with sandals, low heels, and loafers.

Make learning local history part of your daily adventures

This can be especially true from late August to October when Atlantic hurricane season can churn up waves even if the storm is hundreds of miles away. Days begin and end with cool temperatures, so you'll want a sweatshirt or lightweight jacket that you can peel off and tie around your waist later in the day. A fleece jacket and pair of warm slippers are also worth packing for watching outdoor movies or strolls on deck at night. If you're traveling with kids, note minimum ages on biking, kayaking and other shore tours, and pick a line that offers tours that fit the needs of your family. Unlike some Caribbean ports, there are oodles of kid-friendly attractions within safe and easy walking distance of ports in Boston, Halifax and Saint John, for example. Consider booking hop-on-hop-off bus tours or the Theodore Tugboat in Halifax on your own, or take a cab to one of Boston's many kid-friendly museums.

While many establishments in Canada will accept U.S. dollars, be aware that your change will be given in Canadian dollars. Having some Canadian dollars on hand is always a good idea if your cruise includes numerous Canadian ports of call. Canada phased out the one cent penny in 2013; cash transactions are rounded to the nearest five cents.

If seascapes are your thing, don't miss the beautiful coastal landscape by the Bay of Fundy (from Saint John) or Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia. Head to the hills in Bar Harbor for elevated views or escape to sea with a harbor cruise from Newport. Holland America's 1,964-passenger Zuiderdam is a delightfully midsize ship, so you don't have to worry about crowds as you sail between Boston and Quebec City. The ship starts sailing this route in late August, but for the best leaf peeping you'll want to book one of the two October departures.

Itineraries vary by length and route; a wide variety of ports of call is available, as well as embarkation homeports. Those in the U.S. include Baltimore, Boston, New York City (either New York or nearby Brooklyn) and Cape Liberty in New Jersey. The best time to see whales off the Atlantic coast of eastern Canada varies by location. June through early August is the best time to spot these magnificent creatures off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador.
